Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two people engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, endurance, and will, by throwing punches at each other.

Our Boxing program breaks down the fundamentals of the “Sweet Science” into great detail. You will never find our students swinging wildly at each other or even sparring until they posses the necessary skills to properly “Box.” Everything from proper stance, footwork and movement, defense, and of course, punching are explained so that proper form is used first. Shadowboxing and target pads are utilized to allow students to practice their technique.

Duration: 1 hour
Required: Boxing Gloves, Mouth Guard, Headgear, clean workout attire. Trial members are not required to have sparring equipment until sign up.
